There is an application called "Hot Potatoes" where we can make a test into various types of quizzes. The teachers can access by installing the application. Then 5 different types of quizzes will be presented, namely JMatch, JCloz, JQuiz, JCross, and JMix.
- JMatch; by the name JMatch using the word "Match" precisely the students will match the left column with the right column which already has a question. On the left is the word by the teacher and the right side is the answer that must be matched correctly.
- JCloz: The quiz can be known by the name Fill in The Gap. There are questions in the form of paragraph text, and then students can answer the blank parts according to the answers they think are correct. Under the problem, students will be given a few words as a hint.
- JQuiz: JQuiz is the same as multiple-choice questions; students will be given questions and can answer by choosing between A, B, C, and D.
- JCross: JCross is a crossword puzzle game that is well known by many people. Teachers can add clues to each question given.
- JMix: JMix is a quiz jumbled sentences. Students will be given one sentence that is in jumbled form. Then they are required to be able to arrange the series of words into a correct order sentence.
After trying all the quizzes in this application, only the name has changed according to their theme. The type of quiz that made is already familiar to some students and teachers. This application changes the usual quiz in such a way as an online quiz. Hot Potatoes change students’ perceptions to take exams with fun and assume that they are working on the quiz.
